LMK
Arizona State University

Your ASU Canvas, as one daily plan.

ASU runs Canvas at canvas.asu.edu. LMK reads it with a Chrome extension, sizes every assignment to the hours you actually have, and tells you what to do today. It never submits work or changes your coursework, and it never sees your password.

  1. Add LMK Today to Chrome. On a laptop or desktop — a phone can't install an extension. It's free. Chrome will say LMK can read and change data on your school's site: that's its standard wording for any extension that reads a page. LMK opens by itself once it's in, already set to ASU.
  2. Open canvas.asu.edu and sign in.LMK reads ASU's Canvas out of the box; its button opens it for you. Your classes land in LMK by themselves a few seconds after Canvas loads.
  3. Come back to LMK.The first thing on screen is the one thing to start with today. Everything else waits its turn.

Got an invite link from a classmate? Open it on your laptop before you install — it remembers the class, and once your Canvas is in, that class's room is waiting for you.

What LMK keeps, and where

Your plan lives in your own browser and, if you sign in with Google, in one file in your own Drive. Sync from anywhere is off unless you turn it on. If you do, the extension creates one Canvas access token named "LMK" in your account, and LMK's server keeps it encrypted, with a copy of your courses and assignments — grades, scores, instructions and the latest comment on your work included — so your phone stays fresh with your laptop closed. It keeps no email and no Canvas user id. Joining a class's classmates list stores the name you type there. The privacy page lists every item, how long each is kept and how to delete it.
