LMK ("Let Me Know") is a planner that reads your Canvas or D2L Brightspace assignments and tells you what to do today. These terms are short because the product is simple. Using LMK means you agree to them.
LMK is for students 13 and over. It is not built for children under 13 and you should not use it if you are.
If you are under 18, a parent or guardian has to read these terms and agree to them for you.
LMK works with any school that uses Canvas or D2L Brightspace, including high schools: instructure.com, ASU and brightspace.com addresses out of the box, and any other Canvas or Brightspace address once you approve it yourself in the extension. Sync from anywhere, where LMK's server reads for you, exists for Canvas only, because Brightspace offers students no access tokens. If you are using a laptop your school owns and manages, your school decides what you may install on it — LMK cannot change that, and you should not try to get around it.
By default, everything LMK stores about you lives in your own browser and, if you sign in with Google, in a file in your own Google Drive. A few things live on LMK's server, and the privacy policy names each one, says how long it is kept and how to delete it. In short: the random id for your device, with a first-seen date and no name or email; if you turn on Sync from anywhere (it is off unless you do, and can be switched off under the gear at any time), your Canvas access token, encrypted, and a plain copy of your courses and assignments, grades, scores, instructions and the latest comment on your work included, so your phone stays current while your laptop is closed; what you type into a class's classmates list; the address for the morning note on a phone, if you turn it on; and, if the app crashes, the error, with nothing that identifies you.
Classmates. If you join a class's list of classmates, the name and contact line you show are yours to choose and yours to remove; use a name people in that class would recognise, put nothing there you would not say in the class group chat, and treat a study session like any plan with people you have not met: a library, a campus spot, or a call. LMK checks that everyone shown is in the course through your school's Canvas or Brightspace, and nothing more. Anyone can report an entry; an entry that is abusive, impersonates someone, or is used to harass a classmate is removed and the account behind it loses the feature.
Nothing. Every part of LMK is free — the daily plan, the estimates, the extension, the sync, the classmates lists, the semester recap, the grade ranking and the finish-with maths. There is no paid tier, nothing is metered, LMK takes no new payments, and there is nothing to buy anywhere in LMK.
If that ever changes, it will be said plainly here and in the app first, and nobody will be charged without choosing to pay. If you subscribed before 14 September 2026, email hello@lmktoday.app and it will be cancelled.
Nothing in LMK sends your work to an AI model. Where LMK offers to open your own AI with a prepared prompt, that prompt is handed to you and to the service you choose; LMK transmits nothing itself.
If you turn on Chrome's built-in AI, it runs on your own computer and only suggests: a moved date, new work or a cancellation it found in an announcement. It can be wrong. The announcement on your school's site, and your instructor, are what count; nothing changes in your plan unless you tap to accept it.
LMK is provided as is. It is built carefully and tested, but it can be wrong, late, or unavailable, and Canvas or Brightspace can change underneath it. LMK is not responsible for a missed deadline, a grade, or any other consequence of relying on it. Keep checking Canvas for anything that matters.
